Sealed bids will be accepted by the Ferguson Township Board of Supervisors, for Project 2020-C4 at the office of the Public Works Director, Ferguson Township, 3147 Research Drive, State College, PA 16801-2798 until 2:00 pm, prevailing time, on February 21, 2023 at which time they will be opened publicly and read aloud. Envelopes must be clearly marked in the bottom left corner “Bid for Contract 2020-C4 Suburban Park Phase 1”.
PROJECT 2020-C4: SUBURBAN PARK IMPROVEMENTS, PHASE 1
The project areas include the portion of Suburban Park delineated as Phase 1, located at 101 Suburban Avenue, State College, PA. The project includes earthwork, streambed relocation, stormwater BMPs, bituminous walking path, pedestrian bridges, concrete sidewalk, benches, pavilion, landscaping, seeding, and other associated work.
The project is subject to minimum prevailing wage rates.
An optional pre-bid conference will be held on February 8, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Ferguson Township, 3147 Research Drive, State College, PA in Conference Room 2.
The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined and/or copies obtained in the Public Works Department of the Ferguson Township Municipal Building, 3147 Research Drive, State College, PA 16801-2798, upon payment of $50.00/set. If mailed, an additional fee will be charged to cover postage and handling. The plans may be viewed on the Ferguson Township website www.twp.ferguson.pa.us and Contract Documents can be sent electronically at no charge. Bids shall be valid for forty-five (45) days from the date of opening unless extended otherwise.
All bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 10% of the bid. Ferguson Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any bid formalities.
