Stormwater Fee Credits

The credit application period for the 2025 billing year is now open.
Applications are due by September 30, 2024.

All property owners are encouraged to review the Stormwater Credit Manual for stormwater credits that are available to help reduce their stormwater utility bills. By implementing stormwater best management practices (BMPs) or participating with qualifying activities, property owners can reduce their stormwater fee up to 40%.

To be considered eligible for a credit, property owners must apply and receive approval status.

Property owners may apply for credits by filling out the appropriate Credit Forms by September 30th of each year. Once a stormwater credit is approved, there is no need to re-apply for the same credit in subsequent years.

Please note that if you have not received confirmation of credit approval, your application is still under review.  If, during review, any additional information is required, the Township will contact you to obtain that information and allow for modifications as required.

If a credit application is denied, property owners may submit an appeal within 30 days from the date the charge is mailed or otherwise issued to the property owner.

A property owner may also submit a Stormwater Fee Appeal for the following reasons:

  • An error was made regarding the square footage of the impervious area attributed to the parcel;
  • The property is exempt under section 7(C) of ordinance 1066;
  • There is a mathematical error in calculating the stormwater utility fee;
  • The identification of the parcel owner invoiced is in error
