Tax Review Board

About Us

The Ferguson Township Tax Review Board consists of six members who are charged with meeting to discuss proposed tax increases in the Township. These members are appointed to four-year terms by the Board of Supervisors, and meet only when the Board is considering a new source of tax revenue or revising the existing source of tax revenue.

Our Duties

The Tax Review Board submits a recommendation to the Board of Supervisors concerning tax increases. For more information about the duties and responsibilities of the Tax Review Board, contact the Township Manager by email or call (814) 238-4651.

Organization and Term of Office

The Tax Review Board consists of seven residents (two from each of the three wards and one at large). A citizen representative shall be appointed by the Board for a term of office every 4 years; provided that terms shall be staggered so that every 2 years a representative is appointed from each of the three wards and every 4 years a representative is appointed at large.
