Centre County Association of Township Officials Scholarship Application Deadline - June 30th

Centre County residents attending college, vocational school, or a university have until June 30th to apply for a scholarship through the Centre County Association of Township Officials (CCATO).

The CCATO is composed of elected officials and employees from 25 townships in Centre County, working to foster communication among townships and support their efficient operation. As part of that mission, the organization offers scholarships to aid township residents in meeting educational expenses.

Scholarships are available to full-time and part-time students attending vocational or technical training programs, community or business colleges, or universities. At the post-secondary level, support is provided for a first undergraduate degree only. Applicants must have completed at least one academic year of study and maintained a passing grade point average. Recipients may reapply annually, as each scholarship is awarded for a one-year period.

The CCATO Executive Board determines award amounts and selects recipients based on available funds. Scholarships may not be awarded every year depending on the qualified applicant pool.
