Centre Region Council of Governments

The Centre Region Council of Governments has provided cost effective and quality services to State College Borough and the townships of Ferguson, Patton, Halfmoon, Harris, and College since 1969. Ferguson Township partners with the Centre Region COG for services including code administration, regional planning, refuse and recycling, Schlow Library, regional fire protection, and more.

Centre Area Transportation Authority (CATA)

CATA's Mission - "Centre Area Transportation Authority (CATA) is a Joint Municipal Authority serving the six Centre Region municipalities, Bellefonte Borough, Spring Township, and Benner Township. Our mission is to deliver safe, reliable, accessible, and affordable transportation, provided in a courteous and environmentally, fiscally, and socially responsible manner."

CATABUS, CATACOMMUTE, and CATARIDE provide residents of Ferguson Township with direct and easy access to quality, affordable public transit. University Area Joint Authority (UAJA)

The University Area Joint Authority provides wastewater treatment to much of Ferguson Township and the surrounding Centre Region. UAJA is a municipal authority and its structure includes an Authority Board, Plan Operations, and Collection Systems. They provide quality services to residential, commercial, and industrial customers, as well as plan review and inspection services to developers and engineers.

The State College Borough Water Authority (SCBWA)

SCBWA's mission is provide the Centre Region with an excellent supply of potable water at the lowest possible cost, and to provide top-quality service to its customers. Many years of hard work and dedication make it possible to achieve this goal and the Authority will continue to meet the challenges of the future with quality service as its first priority.

C-NET

C-NET is Centre County's Government and Education Access Television Network. C-NET administers two channels, CGTV (channel 7) and CETV (channel 98) on Comcast and Windstream Cable Systems. All of C-NET's locally produced programming is available to view on demand at cnet1.org.
