Traffic Calming

Significant development in the Township during the last three decades has resulted in the construction of a network of various classifications of streets and roads. In response to numerous requests from residents to address both the volume and speed of traffic on Ferguson Township streets and roads, on February 2, 2015, the Board of Supervisors resolved to adopt a Traffic Calming Policy

This policy established the procedure and process to consider and implement traffic calming measures in response to concerned citizens' requests.

The Public Works and Engineering Departments developed the Township's Traffic Calming Policy consistent with state and  national standards.
