BID RESULTS

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Sealed bids will be accepted by the Ferguson Township Board of Supervisors, for Project 2016-C11 at the office of the Public Works Director, Ferguson Township, 3147 Research Drive, State College, PA 16801-2798 until 2:00 PM, prevailing time, on September 9, 2021 at which time they will be opened publicly and read aloud:

PROJECT 2016-C11: AUTOMATED TRAFFIC SIGNAL PERFORMANCE METRICS
The project area includes all 21 signalized intersections in Ferguson Township, Centre County as well as selected radio repeater locations.  The project scope includes the installation of broad band radios and network switches to create a communication network from all the traffic signals to two backhaul locations.  Other work includes installing digital radar detection for both stop bar and advance detection, installing traffic signal controllers and malfunction management units and other associated work. The goal of the project is to create a communications network to support the transfer of data for Automated Traffic Signal Performance Metrics to be implemented.

Bidders must be PennDOT prequalified for the work being performed with the bid.  This contract is subject to minimum prevailing wage rates.

The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined and/or copies obtained in the Engineering Section of the Public Works Department of the Ferguson Township Municipal Building, 3147 Research Drive, State College, PA 16801-2798, upon payment of $75.00/set. If mailed, an additional fee will be charged to cover postage and handling.  The plans may be viewed on the Ferguson Township website www.twp.ferguson.pa.us and Contract Documents can be sent electronically at no charge. Bids shall be valid for forty-five (45) days from the date of opening unless extended otherwise.

All bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 10% of the bid.  Ferguson Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any bid formalities.
