The Ferguson Township Board of Supervisors awarded contract 2023-C6 Curb and Ramp Upgrades to the lowest bidder, Big Rock Paving LLC, in the amount of $62,656.50.

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Sealed bids will be accepted by the Ferguson Township Board of Supervisors, for Project 2023-C6 at the office of the Public Works Director, Ferguson Township, 3147 Research Drive, State College, PA 16801-2798 until 2:00 pm, prevailing time, on March 28, 2023, and will be publicly opened immediately thereafter in Conference Room #2. Envelopes must be clearly marked in the bottom left corner “Bid for Contract 2023-C6”.

PROJECT 2023-C6 Curb and Ramp Upgrades

The project area includes intersection locations in the Hunters Chase subdivision, along Bristol Avenue, and Middle Street; all in Ferguson Township, Centre County. The project includes removal and replacement of concrete curb, concrete sidewalk, detectable warning devices, topsoil and seeding, and associated work.
Bidders must be PennDOT prequalified for the work being performed with the bid. This contract is NOT subject to prevailing minimum wage requirements.

The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined and/or copies obtained in the Engineering Section at the Ferguson Township Municipal Building, 3147 Research Drive, State College, PA 16801-2798, upon payment of $20.00/set. If mailed, an additional fee will be charged to cover postage and handling. The project drawings may be viewed on the Ferguson Township website www.twp.ferguson.pa.us and Contract Documents can be sent electronically at no charge. Bids shall be valid for forty-five (45) days from the date of opening unless extended otherwise.

All bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 10% of the bid. Ferguson Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any bid formalities.
