ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Sealed bids will be accepted by the Ferguson Township Board of Supervisors, for Project 2023-C1 at the office of the Public Works Director, Ferguson Township, 3147 Research Drive, State College, PA 16801-2798 until 2:00 pm, prevailing time, on April 24, 2023 at which time they will be opened publicly and read aloud. Envelopes must be clearly marked in the bottom left corner “Bid for Contract 2023-C1 Street Improvement Project”.

PROJECT 2023-C1: STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT – IN TOWN 

The project area includes improvements along Blue Course Drive between Circleville Road and Martin Street, located in Ferguson Township, Centre County. The project includes replacing sections of existing vertical face, Type A and curb/gutter concrete curb, milling existing roadway, repairing stormwater inlets and tops, relocating center concrete island, topsoil backup, repaving roadway, and other associated work.

Bidders must be PennDOT prequalified for the work being performed with the bid. The project is subject to minimum prevailing wage rates.

The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined and/or copies obtained in the Engineering Department of the Ferguson Township Municipal Building, 3147 Research Drive, State College, PA 16801-2798, upon payment of $50.00/set. If mailed, an additional fee will be charged to cover postage and handling. The plans may be viewed on the Ferguson Township website www.twp.ferguson.pa.us and CONTRACT DOCUMENTS can be sent electronically at no charge. Bids shall be valid for forty-five (45) days from the date of opening unless extended otherwise. All bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 10% of the bid. Ferguson Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any bid formalities.
