Sealed bids will be accepted by the Ferguson Township Board of Supervisors, for Project 2022-C8 at the office of the Public Works Director, Ferguson Township, 3147 Research Drive, State College, PA 16801-2798 until 12:00 pm, prevailing time, on March 8, 2022. Bids should be delivered by USPS by due date or placed in the secure overnight drop box of the Township Building at 3147 Research Drive, State College, PA  16801. Envelopes must be clearly marked in the bottom left corner “Bid for contract 2022-C8 Pavement Markings”. Bids will be opened publicly at a virtual meeting on Tuesday March 8, 2022 at 2:00 pm. CONTRACT 2022-C8 Pavement Markings
The Project includes the application of 1,400,000 linear feet, more or less, of 4” yellow traffic line paint and 1,000,000 linear feet, more or less, of 4” or 6” white traffic line paint and the application of various lane markings and legends per detailed specifications. The line painting within these specifications is a combination of such work within but not limited to: Ferguson, Benner, College, Halfmoon, Harris, Huston, Patton, Penn, Porter, Spring, and Walker Townships and State College and Unionville Boroughs in Centre County.

All bidders must be PennDOT prequalified for the work being performed.

The contract listed above may be examined and/or copies obtained in the Engineering Department of the Ferguson Township Municipal Building, 3147 Research Drive, State College, PA 16801-2798. Contract Documents can be mailed or sent electronically at no charge. Bids shall be valid for forty-five (45) days from the date of opening unless extended otherwise. Bids for all contracts listed above shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 10% of the bid unless noted otherwise. Ferguson Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any bid formalities.
