Sealed bids will be accepted by the Ferguson Township Board of Supervisors, for Project 2022-C4 at the office of the Public Works Director, Ferguson Township, 3147 Research Drive, State College, PA 16801-2798 until 12:00 pm, prevailing time, on March 1, 2022. Bids should be delivered by due date or placed in the secure overnight drop box of the Township Building at 3147 Research Drive, State College, PA  16801. Envelopes must be clearly marked in the bottom left corner “Bid for Contract 2022-C4”. Bids will be opened in person and publicly at a virtual meeting on Tuesday March 1, 2022 at 2:00 pm. PROJECT 2022-C4: PAVEMENT REPAIRS:
The project areas include various segments on Chestnut Ridge Drive, Devonshire Drive, N. Foxpointe Drive, Gwenedd Lane, S. Nixon Road, Havershire Boulevard, Prestwick Boulevard, Sandy Drive, and Homestead Park, all located in Ferguson Township, Centre County. The project includes select mill and filling, and base repair as shown on the construction plans and marked out in the field by the OWNER, and ADA upgrades to a handicap parking space at Homestead Park.

Bidders must be PennDOT prequalified for the work being performed with the bid. The project is NOT subject to minimum prevailing wage rates.

The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined and/or copies obtained in the Public Works Department of the Ferguson Township Municipal Building, 3147 Research Drive, State College, PA 16801-2798, upon payment of $15.00/set. If mailed, an additional fee will be charged to cover postage and handling. The plans may be viewed on the Ferguson Township website www.twp.ferguson.pa.us and Contract Documents can be sent electronically at no charge. Bids shall be valid for forty-five (45) days from the date of opening unless extended otherwise. All bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 10% of the bid. Ferguson Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any bid formalities.
