ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Sealed bids will be accepted by the Ferguson Township Board of Supervisors, for Project 2022-C16 at the office of the Public Works Director, Ferguson Township, 3147 Research Drive, State College, PA 16801-2798 until 2:00 PM, prevailing time, on April 24, 2023. Bids should be delivered by due date to the Township Building at 3147 Research Drive, State College, PA  16801. Envelopes must be clearly marked in the bottom left corner “Bid for Contract 2022-C16”. Bids will be opened publicly on April 24, 2023, at 2:00 pm.

The project area includes work sidewalk ramp and signal push button work at the intersections of West College Ave at Blue Course Dr and West College Ave at Bristol Ave, Ferguson Township, Centre County. The project includes the installation of concrete curb, sidewalk ramps, pedestrian stub poles, accessible pedestrian signals, and other associated work. 

The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined and/or copies obtained in the Engineering Office of the Ferguson Township Municipal Building, 3147 Research Drive, State College, PA 16801-2798, upon payment of $15.00/set. If mailed, an additional fee will be charged to cover postage and handling. The plans may be viewed on the Ferguson Township website www.twp.ferguson.pa.us and CONTRACT DOCUMENTS can be sent electronically at no charge. Bids shall be valid for forty-five (45) days from the date of opening unless extended otherwise. All bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 10% of the bid. Ferguson Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any bid formalities.
