Sealed bids will be accepted by the Ferguson Township Board of Supervisors, for Project 2021-C4 at the office of the Public Works Director, Ferguson Township, 3147 Research Drive, State College, PA 16801-2798 until 12:00 PM, prevailing time, on April 5, 2022. Bids should be delivered by due date or placed in the secure overnight drop box of the Township Building at 3147 Research Drive, State College, PA 16801. Envelopes must be clearly marked in the bottom left corner “Bid for contract 2021-C4”. Bids will be opened in person and publicly at a virtual meeting on Tuesday April 5, 2022 at 2:00 pm. PROJECT 2021-C4: HAROLD DRIVE IMPROVEMENTS
The project area includes improvements along Harold Drive, east of Ross, located in Ferguson Township, Centre County. The project includes removal and replacing the existing roadway to the cul-de-sac, grading stormwater swale, installing 4” under-drain, installing stormwater inlet, stormwater pipe, topsoil, repaving roadway, and other associated work.
Bidders must be PennDOT prequalified for the work being performed with the bid.
The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined and/or copies obtained in the Engineering Department of the Ferguson Township Municipal Building, 3147 Research Drive, State College, PA 16801-2798, upon payment of $50.00/set. If mailed, an additional fee will be charged to cover postage and handling. The plans may be viewed on the Ferguson Township website www.twp.ferguson.pa.us and CONTRACT DOCUMENTS can be sent electronically at no charge. Bids shall be valid for forty-five (45) days from the date of opening unless extended otherwise. All bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 10% of the bid. Ferguson Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any bid formalities.
