2018-C8 Pavement Markings
On Monday, March 19, 2018, the Ferguson Township Board of Supervisors awarded Contract 2018-C8 Pavement Markings to Alpha Space Control Company in the amount of $200,272.03.
Bids were publicly opened for the 2018-C8 Pavement Markings contract at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 and read aloud. David Modricker, Ryan Scanlan, and Marcella Bell of Ferguson Township were present. The following two bids were received:

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed bids will be accepted by the Ferguson Township Board of Supervisors, for the following project, at the office of the Public Works Director, Ferguson Township, 3147 Research Drive, State College, PA 16801-2798 until 2:00 PM, prevailing time, on March 13, 2018, at which time they will be opened publicly and read aloud:
CONTRACT 2018-C8 PAVEMENT MARKINGS
The Project includes the application of 1,400,000 linear feet, more or less, of 4” yellow traffic line paint and 1,000,000 linear feet, more or less, of 4” or 6” white traffic line paint and the application of various lane markings and legends per detailed specifications. The line painting within these specifications is a combination of such work within but not limited to: Ferguson, Patton, College, Harris, Halfmoon, Huston, Marion, Walker, Benner, Spring, Porter, and Union Townships and State College Borough, in Centre and Clinton Counties.
All bidders must be PennDOT prequalified for the work being performed.
The contract listed above may be examined and/or copies obtained in the Engineering Department of the Ferguson Township Municipal Building, 3147 Research Drive, State College, PA 16801-2798. Contract Documents can be mailed or sent electronically at no charge. Bids shall be valid for forty-five (45) days from the date of opening unless extended otherwise.
Bids for all contracts listed above shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 10% of the bid unless noted otherwise. Ferguson Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any bid formalities.
