2018-C6 Curb and Ramp Upgrades
On Monday, April 16, 2018 the Ferguson Township Board of Supervisors awarded Contract 2018-C6 Curb and Ramp Upgrades to M & B Services, LLC in the amount of $137,172.77.
Bids were publicly opened for the 2018-C6 Curb and Ramp Upgrades project on Tuesday, April 10, 2018, and read aloud. David Modricker and Ryan Scanlan of Ferguson Township were presnt. Also present was Jack Hauser, Wolyniec Construction; Jeff Wert, RC Bowman; and Evan Stearn of Landserv. The following bids were recieved:

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed bids will be accepted by the Ferguson Township Board of Supervisors, for Project 2018- C6 at the office of the Public Works Director, Ferguson Township, 3147 Research Drive, State College, PA 16801-2798 until 2:00 PM, prevailing time, on April 10, 2018 at which time they will be opened publicly and read aloud:
PROJECT 2018-C6 CONCRETE CURB AND RAMP UPGRADES:
The project area includes intersection locations in Hillside Farms subdivision and Teaberry Ridge Manor subdivision; all in Ferguson Township, Centre County. The project includes removal and replacement of concrete curb, concrete curb and gutter, concrete sidewalk, detectable warning devices, concrete grinding and associated work.
Bidders must be PennDOT prequalified for the work being performed with the bid. This contract is subject to prevailing minimum wage requirements.
The contract documents may be examined and/or copies obtained in the Engineering Department of the Ferguson Township Municipal Building, 3147 Research Drive, State College, PA 16801-2798, upon payment of $10.00/set. If mailed, an additional fee will be charged to cover postage and handling. The location map may be viewed on this page below and contract documents can be sent electronically at no charge. Bids shall be valid for forty-five (45) days from the date of opening unless extended otherwise.
All bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 10% of the bid. Ferguson Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any bid formalities.
