Sealed bids will be accepted by the Ferguson Township Board of Supervisors, for Project 2018-C20U at the office of the Public Works Director, Ferguson Township, 3147 Research Drive, State College, PA 16801-2798 until 2:00 PM, prevailing time, on October 11, 2022. Bids should be delivered by due date/time to the Township Building at 3147 Research Drive, State College, PA  16801. Envelopes must be clearly marked in the bottom left corner “Bid for Contract 2018-C20U”.  Bids will be opened publicly on Tuesday October 11, 2022 at 2:00 pm.

The project area includes work along portions of Park Hills Avenue, Greenwood Circle, and Penrose Circle, all located in Ferguson Township, Centre County. The project includes the installation of conduit by means of directional boring as well as trenching, and other associated work.  The project is subject to minimum prevailing wage rates.

The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined and/or copies obtained in the Engineering Office of the Ferguson Township Municipal Building, 3147 Research Drive, State College, PA 16801-2798, upon payment of $15.00/set. If mailed, an additional fee will be charged to cover postage and handling. The plans may be viewed on the Ferguson Township website www.twp.ferguson.pa.us and CONTRACT DOCUMENTS can be sent electronically at no charge. Bids shall be valid for forty-five (45) days from the date of opening unless extended otherwise. All bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 10% of the bid. Ferguson Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any bid formalities.
