2018-C13 Street Tree Planting
On Monday, March 5, 2018, the Ferguson Township Board of Supervisors awarded Contract 2018-C13 Street Tree Planting to Greene's Landscape in the amount of $43,750.00.
Bids were publicly opened for the 2018-C13 Street Tree Planting contract at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 and read aloud. David Modricker, Lance King, and Marcella Bell of Ferguson Township were present. Adam Cramer, Cramer L&C, Inc.; Evan Stearns, Landserv; Stephen Weaver, Alex's Proscape; Greg Schaumburg, Scott's Landscaping; and Tony Luther, Luther Lawn Serivce were also in attendance. ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
The Ferguson Township Board of Supervisors will accept sealed bids in the office of the Public Works Director, Ferguson Township Municipal Building, 3147 Research Drive, State College, PA 16801. Bids shall be received until 2:00pm on February 27, 2018 at which time they shall be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids shall be received for the following:
PROJECT 2018-C13 STREET TREE PLANTING
The project includes the installation of 142 street trees at various locations within the Township. Bid package is available both electronically and in paper versions. Detailed specifications can be obtained at the Ferguson Township Municipal Building, Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM and Friday 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM. A bid bond is not required. Bids must be clearly marked on the outside of the envelope “Bid for Project 2018-C13 Street Tree Planting”. Bids shall be valid for thirty days from the date of opening unless extended otherwise. The Ferguson Township Board of Supervisors reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any formalities.
