2018-C10 Sealcoat Bike Paths and Parking Lots
On Monday, May 21, 2018, the Ferguson Township Board of Supervisors awarded Contract 2018-C10 Bikepath and Parking Lot Sealcoat to Unico Sealing, Inc. in the amount of $25,943.95.
Bids were publicly opened for 2018-C10 Bikepaths and Parking Lots Sealcoating on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at 1:30 PM and read aloud. David Modricker and Marcella Bell of Ferguson Township were present. Also present was Kim Miller of M&M Asphalt Corp. The following five bids were recieved:

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed bids will be accepted by the Ferguson Township Board of Supervisors, for Project 2018-C10 at the office of the Public Works Director, Ferguson Township, 3147 Research Drive, State College, PA 16801-2798 until 1:30 pm prevailing time, on May 15, 2018, at which time they will be opened publicly and read aloud:
PROJECT 2018-C10 BIKEPATH and PARKING LOT SEALCOATING
Work includes placement of approximately 31,576 SY of coal tar pavement sealer with sand on various bikepaths, and 2 basketball courts, and line striping all within and around Ferguson Township, Centre County, Pa. Other Centre Region municipalities may piggyback on this project.
The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined and/or copies obtained in the Engineering Department of the Ferguson Township Municipal Building, 3147 Research Drive, State College, PA 16801-2798, upon payment of $10/set. Documents can be mailed for a $5 charge for postage and handling. Bids shall be valid for thirty (30) days from the date of opening unless extended otherwise.
All bids must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 10% of the bid. Ferguson Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any bid formalities.
