On Monday, March 20, 2017, the Ferguson Township Board of Supervisors awarded items 1,2,3, and 4 (aggregate) to Hanson Aggregates in the amount of $20,305.00. The Board of Supervisors also awarded items 5,6,7, and 8 (asphalt) to HRI, Inc. in the amount of $53,515.00.
Bids for contract 2017-C7c Asphalt and Aggregate were publicly opened at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 and read aloud. The bid opening was attended by Lance King, Ferguson Township Arborist and Marcella Bell, Administrative Assistant for Ferguson Township Public Works. Bids were recieved as follows:

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
The Township of Ferguson will receive sealed bid proposals for 2017-C7c Asphalt and Aggregate Bid inthe office of the Public Works Director until 2:00 PM on Tuesday, March 14, 2017, in the Ferguson Township Municipal Building, 3147 Research Drive, State College, PA 16801, at which time they will bepublicly opened and read aloud. Bids must be per specifications and must be on bid forms provided by the Township, which can be obtained at the Ferguson Township Municipal Building. Envelopes should be clearly marked on the left front corner of the envelope "Bid Proposal for Road Materials Opening 3/14/17''. The Ferguson Township Board of Supervisors reserves the right to accept or reject any or allbids and to waive any bid formalities.
