2017-C6 Curb and Ramp Upgrades
On Monday, March 13, 2017, the Ferguson Township Board of Supervisors awarded the 2017-C6 Concrete Curb and Ramp Upgrades contract to Wolyniec Construction, Inc. in the amount of $248,248.00
Bids for Contract 2017-C6 Concrete Curb and Ramp Upgrades were opened publicly at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 and read aloud. The bid opening was attended by Jack Hauser of Wolyniec Construction Inc., Braun Gourley of M & B Services LLC, Jeff Wert of R. C. Bowman Inc., Andrew Larson of Glenn O. Hawbaker Inc., and Ron Seyebert, Ferguson Township Engineer. Bids were recieved as followed:

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed bids will be accepted by the Ferguson Township Board of Supervisors, for Project 2017- C6 at the office of the Public Works Director, Ferguson Township, 3147 Research Drive, State College, PA 16801-2798 until 1:00 PM, prevailing time, on February 28, 2017 at which time they will be opened publicly and read aloud
PROJECT 2017-C6 CONCRETE CURB AND RAMP UPGRADES
The project area includes intersection locations in Foxpointe subdivision, Hillside Farms subdivision, along Science Park Road, and along Martin Street; all in Ferguson Township, Centre County. The project includes removal and replacement of concrete curb, concrete curb and gutter, concrete sidewalk, detectable warning devices, push button relocation, a poured inplace inlet, and associated work.
Bidders must be PennDOT prequalified for the work being performed with the bid. This contract is subject to prevailing minimum wage requirements.
The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined and/or copies obtained in the Engineering Department of the Ferguson Township Municipal Building, 3147 Research Drive, State College, PA 16801-2798, upon payment of $10.00/set. If mailed, an additional fee will be charged to cover postage and handling. The location map is linked below, and Contract Documents can be sent electronically at no charge. Bids shall be valid for forty-five (45) days from the date of opening unless extended otherwise.
All bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 10% of the bid.Ferguson Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any bid formalities.
