Bids were publicly opened for the 2017-C17 Silvi Baseball Field Improvements project on September 25, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. and read aloud. David Modricker, Ryan Scanlan, Ron Seybert, and Marcella Bell of Ferguson Township were present. Also present was Makenna Pick, HRI, Inc.; and Evan Stearns of Landserv. ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed bids will be accepted by the Ferguson Township Board of Supervisors, for Project 2017-C17 at the office of the Public Works Director, Ferguson Township, 3147 Research Drive, State College, PA 16801-2798 until 2:00 PM, prevailing time, on September 25, 2018 at which time they will be opened publicly and read aloud.
PROJECT 2017-C17 SILVI BASEBALL COMPLEX IMPROVEMENTS
The project area is located at the Silvi (Teener) baseball fields, located in Ferguson Township, Centre County. The project includes class 4 excavation, placement of bituminous asphalt pavement over existing aggregate, ADA accessible walkways and sitting areas, concrete pad under existing pavilion, pavement line markings, post mounted signs, grading, installation of ADA accessible water fountain, bleachers, stone backup around site and associated work.
This contract is subject to Pennsylvania Minimum Prevailing Wage Rates.
The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined and/or copies obtained in the Engineering Department of the Ferguson Township Municipal Building, 3147 Research Drive, State College, PA 16801-2798, upon payment of $25.00/set. If mailed, an additional fee will be charged to cover postage and handling. The plans may be viewed on the Ferguson Township website below and Contract Documents can be sent electronically at no charge. Bids shall be valid for forty-five (45) days from the date of opening unless extended otherwise.
All bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 10% of the bid. Ferguson Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any bid formalities. Ferguson Township expects work to be completed in fall of 2018 so work is anticipated to be awarded within two weeks of bid opening.
