2017-C10 Sealcoating Paths and Lots
On Monday, July 3, 2017, the Ferguson Township Board of Supervisors awarded the 2017-C10 Sealcoating Paths and Lots contract to M&M Asphalt Corporation in the amount of $26,915.20
Bids for Contract 2017-C10 Sealcoating Paths and Lots were opened publicly at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 and read aloud. The bid opening was attended by Tara Thompke, M&M Asphalt Co.; Nick Svetahor, Crilon Co., David Modricker, Ferguson Township Public Works Director; and Marcella Bell, Ferguson Township Public Works Administrative Assistant. ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed bids will be accepted by the Ferguson Township Board of Supervisors, for Project 2017-C10 at the office of the Public Works Director, Ferguson Township, 3147 Research Drive, State College, PA 16801-2798 until 2:00 pm on June 27, 2017, at which time they will be opened publicly and read aloud:
PROJECT 2016-C10 BIKEPATH and PARKING LOT SEALCOATING
Work includes placement of approximately 28,269 SY of coal tar pavement sealer with sand on various bikepaths, parking lots, and basketball courts, and line striping all within and around Ferguson Township, Centre County, Pa. Other Centre Region municipalities may piggyback on this project.
The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined and/or copies obtained in the Engineering Department of the Ferguson Township Municipal Building, 3147 Research Drive, State College, PA 16801-2798, upon payment of $10/set. Documents can be mailed for a $5 charge for postage and handling. Bids shall be valid for thirty (30) days from the date of opening unless extended otherwise.
All bids must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 10% of the bid. Ferguson Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any bid formalities.
