2016-C17 Fairbrook Park Lower Parking Lot

On Monday, May 15, 2017, the Board of Supervisors awarded the 2016-Fairbrook Park Parking Lot Paving project to Glenn O. Hawbaker in the amount of $60,825.10.

Bids for Contract 2016-C17 Fairbrook Park Lower Parking Lot were publicly opened at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 and read aloud. The bid opening was attended by Allix Gresock of HRI, Inc., Andrew Larson of Glenn O. Hawbaker, Inc., Doreen Strouse of H&R Excavating, Ferguson Township Assistant Engineer Ryan Scanlan, and Ferguson Township Engineer Ron Seybert. The bids were recieved as follows:

Sealed bids will be accepted by the Ferguson Township Board of Supervisors, for Project
2017-C3 at the office of the Public Works Director, Ferguson Township, 3147 Research Drive, State College, PA 16801-2798 until 2:00 PM, prevailing time, on April 25, 2017 at which time they will be opened publicly and read aloud:

PROJECT 2017-C3: MARTIN STREET CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT

The project area includes a portion of Martin Street between Blue Course Drive and the Township boundary located in Ferguson Township, Centre County. The project includes milling of existing pavement, placement of bituminous asphalt, and other associated work.

Bidders must be PennDOT prequalified for the work being performed with the bid. The project is subject to minimum prevailing wage rates.

The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined and/or copies obtained in the Engineering Department of the Ferguson Township Municipal Building, 3147 Research Drive, State College, PA 16801-2798, upon payment of $25.00/set. If mailed, an additional fee will be charged to cover postage and handling. The plans may be viewed below and Contract Documents can be sent electronically at no charge. Bids shall be valid for forty-five (45) days from the date of opening unless extended otherwise.

All bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 10% of the bid. Ferguson Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any bid formalities.
