Updated 12/11/2023

Motorists traveling on Blue Course Drive, Circleville Road, West Cherry Lane, and Nixon Road (between Old Gatesburg Road and West Whiteball Road) can expect to encounter traffic control measures while work crews perform pipe cleaning and video assessments through the end of the year.

Township Pipe Cleaning and Recording Set to Begin (published 11/3/2023)

Cleaning and recorded inspection of storm drains located throughout Ferguson Township is expected to begin the week of November 6, 2023, with anticipated completion by the end of the year.

The goal of this project is to assess the functionality and structural integrity of Township storm pipes for consideration of future lining using the National Association of Sewer Service Companies (NASSCO) Pipeline Assessment Certification Program for consistent assessment coding of the Township's underground infrastructure.

All cleaning water and materials removed from the pipes will be captured, handled, transported, treated and disposed of in accordance with Federal, State and Local requirements.

For the duration of the project, residents can expect to see crews in and around the work zones with basic traffic control including lane closures and flaggers.
