Township Road Crew Works Towards Roads Scholar Certification

Ferguson Township road crew staff recently took part in multiple training sessions on stormwater facilities, maintenance, and drainage. The trainings are funded by PennDOT through the Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP). PennDOT LTAP supports road agencies, like the Township's Public Works Department, by providing technical assistance and training on road maintenance and safety.

The Township's road crew has already completed a number of LTAP trainings and will continue to do so in order to achieve Roads Scholar Certification, which ensures they are trained in the latest road-related technologies and innovations to better manage and maintain the Township's roadways.
