Stormwater Management Program Presentation by David Modricker, Public Works Engineer

At the May 16, 2022 Board of Supervisors Regular Meeting, David Modricker, Ferguson Township Public Works Director, provided the Board with an update and reivew of the Township's Stormwater Management Program. 

The presenation was sectioned out into six different goals as shown here:

As part of the Public Education and Outreach portion of the Stormwater Management Program, the Township aims to "develop a written Public Education Outreach Program (PEOP)". The strategies for the Township for PEOP includes a print newsletter two times a year, having brochures on hand and available for residents, posters in the Township lobby detailing the process, fact sheets, and advertising the MS4partners.org website which provides resources to residents curious about the program.

The full presentation included how to Township targets and removes pollutants from our stormwater system, how the Township maintains the stormwater system, and how the Township plans to commit to upgrades to the system.
