Residential Emergency Response Notification

In case of an emergency, residents may want to provide emergency responders with confidential information about anyone in the home who may have special needs, advanced medical conditions, or who will need assistance in the event of an emergency or evacuation. While Ferguson Township does not offer this service, Centre County does.

Residents may also provide contact information for trusted individuals who can assist police officers when entering or securing your home during an emergency. Residential Emergency Response Notification (RERN) is particularly helpful for first responders to know about your distinct circumstances prior to arriving on scene.

Complete a Centre County 9-1-1 Emergency Communications Residential Emergency Response Notification form and submit to Centre County 911. Your information will be entered into the Centre County 911 CAD (Computer Aided Dispatch) system based on your address. These “notes” will automatically generate on the CAD screen for dispatchers to see and convey to first responders as needed, when you call 9-1-1 for help.
