Ferguson Township Police conduct strategic traffic and DUI enforcement

State College, PA – From 8/19/2022 to 8/21/2022 The Ferguson Township Police conducted strategic traffic enforcement in high concern areas to help increase awareness and safety for the residents.  These efforts were completed in conjunction with routine patrols and the Centre County Traffic Safety and DUI grant. These details resulted in Officers from the Ferguson Township Police conducting 51 traffic stops.  Through these efforts numerous citations were issued and one-person was arrested for suspicion of DUI.

In a continuing effort to assure the safety of our community strategic details will continue through the fall on certain dates at specific times.  Officers will be targeting aggressive driving, seat belt violations as well as any and all impaired driving violations.  Remember “If you feel different, you drive different.  Drive high get a DUI”
