Statement on October 21, 2021 Incident

On October 21, 2021, at 8:51pm, Ferguson Township Officers were dispatched to the 4300 block of West Whitehall Rd (Fairbrook) regarding a bullet fired into a residence. As a vehicle was driving through the neighborhood, the homeowner heard loud bangs. The homeowner went to the second floor of his residence and discovered a hole through an exterior wall and damage to an interior wall. Officers recovered a bullet from the interior wall.

The shooting appears random and no one was injured. The bullet is believed to be from a handgun and there are no suspects at this time. A Pennsylvania State Police K-9 helped search the scene for casings.
