Rabies Case in Ferguson Township

In the area of Abington Circle, a 3-year old child sustained minor injuries from a wild fox that was acting strangly. The Ferguson Township Police Department located the fox and euthanized the animal which tested positive for rabies.  

Please avoid contact with any wild or stray animals. If you see an animal and they exhibit abnormal behavior, such as excitability, lack of fear or aggression, they may have rabies.
