No-Shave November Charity Contest

FTPD

This November, the Ferguson Police Department is holding the 2nd annual “No-Shave November” contest for all of our officers. Corporal Brian Rose spearheaded this charitable cause for the 2nd year in a row. Officers pay an entry fee and will vote on the best beards. First and Second place will receive a trophy and decide which charities the proceeds will go to. Charities that are on the list include Toys for Tots and Salvation Army Angel Tree.

"Officers help the community everyday," Chief Albright said. "This affords us the opportunity to give a little extra and help families give their kids a happier holiday."

Officer Lauren Neely is also getting in on the cause. She will paint her nails specific colors to reflect the different cancers that my family has encountered.

This is just another example of our officers showing their commitment to helping those in need. This November, keep an eye out for our Boys in Blue in Beards!
