Ferguson Township Police Department Gives Back: No-Shave November & Shop with a Cop

Once again, the Ferguson Township Police Department participated in "No Shave November", but was a little different this year. Since Ferguson Township Police updated their policy to allow facial hair, many of our officers were already sporting beards. Instead of having a contest, Officers were encouraged to donate $20 toward the "Shop with a Cop" program. Thankfully, there was no shortage of donations from our officers getting involved!

The Police Department has worked collectively with the Patton Township Police Department and the local Salvation Army to identify families who need help this holiday season. Officers will gather lists from all of the families and go shopping for them. Then our officers will wrap these gifts and the families can come pick them up at the Ferguson Township Police Department.

That's not all: several businesses in the Township donated items that were raffled to help increase the money raised to purchase gifts.
