Child Seat Safety Checks at Pine Grove Mills Farmers Market, August 4, 2022
Ferguson Township Police will be present for car seat installations and safety checks from 3pm - 7pm.

On Thursday, August 4, 2022, the Ferguson Township Police Department will be on site at the Pine Grove Mills Farmers Market from 3:00pm to 7:00pm to offer car seat installations and safety checks for attendees' vehicles.
Guidance from officers will be provided regarding the proper seat for the age group of each child. Below are recommendations from PennDOT regarding proper car seat types for specific age ranges:
- Rear-Facing Car Seat: Ages 0-3
- Forward-Facing Car Seat: Ages 2-7
- Booster Seat: Ages 4-12
- Regular Seat Belt: Ages 8-13+
