2017-C5 Meadows Park Improvements
On Monday, July 17, 2017, the Board of Supervisors awarded the 2017-Meadows Park Improvments project to Ameron Construction in the amount of $74,465.10.
Bids for contract 2017-C5 Meadows Park Improvements were publicly opened at 2:00 on July 11, 2017 and read aloud. The bid opening was attended by Jim Porter, J Porter Enterprises; Evan Stearns, Landserv Inc.; Ron Seybert, Township Engineer; Ryan Scanlan, Assistant Township Engineer; and Marcella Bell, Public Works Administrative Assistant. ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed bids will be accepted by the Ferguson Township Board of Supervisors, for Project 2017-C5 at the office of the Public Works Director, Ferguson Township, 3147 Research Drive, State College, PA 16801-2798 until 2:00 PM, prevailing time, on July 11, 2017 at which time they will be opened publicly and read aloud:
PROJECT 2017-C5: MEADOWS PARK IMPROVEMENTS
The project includes removal and replacement of an existing pavilion and concrete floor along with construction of a new accessible route to the pavilion, located in Meadows Park, Timothy Lane in Ferguson Township, Centre County. Prevailing minimum wages shall apply.
The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined and/or copies obtained in the Engineering Department of the Ferguson Township Municipal Building, 3147 Research Drive, State College, PA 16801-2798, upon payment of $15.00/set. If mailed, an additional fee will be charged to cover postage and handling. The plans may be viewed on the Ferguson Township website www.twp.ferguson.pa.us and Contract Documents can be sent electronically at no charge. Bids shall be valid for forty-five (45) days from the date of opening unless extended otherwise.
All bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 10% of the bid. Ferguson Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any bid formalities.
