Bike Month
In the month of May, Ferguson Township partners with other organizations around the Centre Region to celebrate Bike Month.
Throughout the month, there will be a variety of organized activities that all ages can enjoy. The goal is to promote bicycling as a healthy, fun, and cost effective way to get around the Centre Region!
May 1-31 Bike Scavenger Hunt
Ride your bike at four (4) of the listed six (6) locations and snap a photo with your bike at each spot. Send your favorite photo to FamBikeSH@centrebike.org for a chance to win a $50 Bicycle Shop gift card.

May 1-31 Bike Bingo
2023 Bike Month Bingo! Complete five (5) activities in a row - down, across, or diagonal and send a photo of your card to bmb@centrebike.org by June 1 to be entered for a chance to win a $50 Freeze Thaw Cycles gift card.

May 1-31 Bike and Munch
During the month of May, ride your bike to any eating establishment in Centre County and buy some grub!
Email a photo of you, your bike, and your receipt to bikeandmunch@centrebike.org to be entered to win a $50 Downtown Improvement District gift card!
May 16 Virtual Bike Commuting 101
This free class will run from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. It is for recreational or mountain cyclists who would like to feel more comfortable commuting by bike. Learn about the realities of bike commuting, traffic safety principles, what to wear, what kind of gear you'll need to haul a change of clothes, ride at night, how and where to lock your bike, and more. Hop on your bike and enjoy the spring weather!
Challenge yourself to ride to and from work for the entire week.
May 19 Bike Anywhere Friday
Spring Bike Anywhere Friday is May 19, 2023! Ride your bike to work, school, shop, eat, or for fun in the Centre Region and register to WIN a $50 Freeze Thaw Cycles gift card!
