2023 Tax Reminder for Residents

With tax season upon us, our Finance & Tax Department would like to remind all of our residents of upcoming due dates.

Ferguson Township real estate tax bills will be mailed out March 1st and offer different payment options.

There is a 2% discount for taxes paid on or before April 30.

If you pay between May 1 and June 30, the face amount is due.

A 10% penalty is added to the face amount for payments made after June 30 to the end of the year. Payments made after December 31 of the current year must be made at the Centre County Tax Collection. 

Regarding tax collection,  Ferguson Township only collects Township and School Real Estate taxes for Ferguson residents. Centre County collects all Real Estate Taxes and the Borough of State College collects the Earned Income Tax and Local Services Taxes.
