Water & Sewer Information

The University Area Joint Authority (UAJA) and the State College Borough Water Authority (SCBWA) provide water and sewer service to most of Ferguson's Township's residents and businesses. The two authorities have a reputation for providing quality service to the Centre Region at an affordable price.

If you live or are looking to locate outside of the service areas of UAJA and SCBWA, your sewage will need to be treated by an on-lot septic system, and your water will be provided by a private well or by Rock Springs Water Company.
