Drop Off Prescription Medications at the Ferguson Township Police Department

The Ferguson Township Police Department is a year-round prescription drug drop-off site. The site is part of a local law enforcement and community initiative to educate the general public about the current opioid addiction crisis and the potential for abuse of medications.
The Ferguson Township collection box provides a safe, convenient, responsible and confidential way to dispose of prescription drugs.
Unused medications are accepted during regular business hours: 8 am - 5 pm Monday through Thursday and 8 am - 4 pm Friday.

We do not accept:
- Intravenous solutions
- injectables, syringes, and needles (i.e. EpiPens)
*(These items should be taken to a health care professional's office or to a hospital for proper disposal) - hydrogen peroxide
- lotions, ointments, and liquids
- compressed cylinders or aerosols (e.g., asthma inhalers)
- Iodine-containing medications
- thermometers
- alcohol & illicit drugs (i.e. marijuana, heroin, LSD, etc.)
