Beaver Avenue Final Study
Environmental Planning & Design, consultant for the Township Beaver Avenue Corridor Study, presented the final draft of the study to the Township Planning Commission at its meeting on Monday night, January 9th. The Commission members will continue to evaluate the project in the coming weeks to determine if there is any more information they need the consultant to provide. It is anticipated that the item will be back on the Commission’s agenda for further discussion at their meeting on February 13, 2012. The public is welcome to review the draft and provide comment directly to the Township or to attend the Commission’s meeting on the 13th.
Township Community Survey has HUGE Response Rate
In the fall of 2011 the Township, with the assistance of the Penn State Department of Agricultural Economics & Rural Sociology, distributed a web based and hard copy community survey instrument to 1000 randomly selected Township residents and businesses. There were 536 responses received (347 paper, 189 web), for a 53.6% response rate, which is fabulous.
