Winter Weather Advisory: Monday Evening, March 6, to Tuesday Morning, March 7

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 6 p.m. Monday evening, March 6, until 5 a.m. Tuesday morning, March 7 for portions of Central Pennsylvania.

Snow is expected across the northern half of Central PA this evening into tonight. Snowfall rates of up to 1 inch per hour are possible late this evening. The bulk of accumulation will occur between 7 p.m. and 2 a.m. 

There is uncertainty on where the heaviest snow will fall. This will occur within a narrow band which could be farther north or south depending on the exact track of the system.
