Lunar New Year 2024 Proclamation Issued by the Board of Supervisors

The Ferguson Township Board of Supervisors has proclaimed the Lunar New Year, which falls on Saturday, February 10, 2024. The proclamation was issued at the February 6, 2024, regular meeting, at which, representatives of the Asian, Pacific Islander, Desi American community (PanAPIDA Circle) discussed the history of the Lunar New Year, shared their personal experiences, and spoke to the importance of the proclamation.
The Township would like to thank Judge Donald Hahn and Penn State Human Resources Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging Program Manager Dr. Nalini Krishnankutty, and Dr. Grace Chang for speaking at the meeting.
