Celebrating Public Service Recognition Week: May 5-11

On April 16, 2024, the Board of Supervisors adopted a proclamation to recognize the week of May 5-11 as Public Service Recognition Week.
Public Service Recognition Week is celebrated the first week of May since 1985 (beginning on the first Sunday of the month) to honor those who serve our nation as federal, state, county, local and tribal government employees.
