Coming Soon: NEW Community Survey

Ferguson Township is in the process of preparing to distribute our next Community Survey. The survey will be a follow-up to our 2011 Community Survey and will measure the progress that we have made on a number of issues. The survey is still being designed, but it will likely include items related to community engagement, quality of life, economic opportunities, and much more! Participants will be randomly selected, so watch for our invitation to participate in your mailbox when the survey is ready.

2011 Community Survey

In 2011, the Ferguson Township Board of Supervisors and staff partnered with the Penn State University to survey residents on a variety of Township programs, services, and issues. The survey was intended to assist the Board as they endeavored to improve programs and services, augment current and future planning efforts, and encourage communication between the Township's administrative bodies and residents. A random sample of 1,000 households was selected to complete the survey, and included an option of competing online or by paper. Of those who were contacted, the Township had a tremendous response rate of 54.4%.
