C-NET Board of Directors

The Board of Supervisors appoints one member to serve as the representative of the Township to the C-NET Board of Directors for a one-year term.

C-NET is the Government and Educational Access Network for Centre County. C-NET programming is aired on Channel 7 and 98 on the Comcast cable system. The organization also publishes all of its programs online at cnet1.org.  The C-NET Board of Directors is composed of one representative from each of the sixteen member organizations. The C-NET Board of Directors meets quarterly at 7:00 pm.

In addition to the four Board meetings, Board members are generally asked to serve on a policy review meeting each year, generally in the month of February or March. The duties of the Board include approval of the annual budget and capital purchase plan, review of several policies each year, and the annual performance evaluation of the Executive Director.
