Watershed Cleanup Day - April 22, 2023

A proclamation designating April 22, 2023, as Watershed Cleanup Day was adopted by the Board of Supervisors on March 21, 2023. Please see the full proclamation below.

Also falling on Earth Day, Watershed Cleanup Day is an important effort to promote the protection of our local water resources and environmental conservation. For this day, ClearWater Conservancy has organized numerous cleanup events at locations around Centre County, including the Slab Cabin Run, which flows through Pine Grove Mills.

The event will take place on April 22, 2023 from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.

For those who wish to volunteer specifically for the Slab Cabin Run cleanup, participants will meet at Pine Grove Hall at 8:00 a.m. on the day. This effort meets one of the Pine Grove Mills Small Area Plan's goals of prioritizing green initiatives in the area. Landowners and volunteers are invited to join.
