With the news of Township Manager David Pribulka's formal resignation to begin effectively on March 1, 2022, the Board of Supervisors appointed Assistant Township Manager, Centrice Martin, as Interim Township Manager as Ferguson Township continues its search for a permanent Township Manager.

Centrice Martin has been a member of the Ferguson Township administration since 2018, and held the position of Assistant Township Manager for over a year. She is thought to be the first Black Township Manager in the Centre Region of any borough or township.

Ferguson Township is engaged in 14-week long hiring search through govHR, a public management firm. Over the course of the search, the firm will conduct a position assessment, advertising, recruitment and outreach, candidate evaluations, background screening, presentation of recommended candidates, interviews and appointment of a candidate.

The township will continue to run at full-capcity, and will also continue to keep residents informed of the process of hiring a new township manager.
