Update on Pine Grove Mills Street Light Conversion

Work is currently underway in Pine Grove Mills along portions of East Pine Grove Road and Nixon Road to convert existing ornamental lights to LED ornamental lights and install new lighting controls. Residents in Pine Grove Mills currently experiencing a lack of street lighting should expect lights to be operational by the end of August. Installation of new lighting controllers is delayed due to supply chain issues and installation of a temporary control box to get the lights operational is in progress.

These changes will allow the lights to be serviced by Ferguson Township Public Works, removing them from the West Penn Power flat rate fee system and placing them on a metered connection.
