Township Road Crew's Efforts to Keep the Streets Clear of Snow

The Ferguson Township Public Works Department works tirelessly during snow events to keep the streets in our community clear of snow and safe for travel.

During a heavy downfall of snow, the Road Crew works in split teams so that they can be on the job 24/7 when needed. An initial crew works from the early hours of the morning until midday when a second team relieves them and takes over the task of treating roadways.

Each of our plow drivers has a specific route to follow, and while we focus on main lines, all roads will be opened and we will stay with it as long as needed.
