Supervisor-elect Swearing-in Ceremony to Take Place January 2, 2024, at 6:30pm

Supervisors-elect Mr. Matthew Heller, Mr. Omari Patterson, Ms. Patricia Stephens, and Mr. Jeremie Thompson will take the oath of office at approximately 6:30 p.m. in the Main Meeting Room at Ferguson Township Building. Judge Oliver will administer the swearing-in ceremony. 

Section 2.11 of the Ferguson Township Home Rule Charter requires an oath of office prior to assuming a seat on the Board of Supervisors:

The Supervisors, prior to assuming office, shall take and sign an oath of office as shall from time to time be prescribed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Such oath may be taken and signed before any judge, district magistrate or notary public of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and no person shall be permitted to assume such office until the oath, in written form, is filed with the Township.
