Proclamation to Recognize and Honor Sergeant Adam Hartswick

On May 15, 2023, the Board of Supervisors issued a proclamation to honor U.S. Army Sergeant Adam Hartswick.
While serving in Afghanistan as a combat medic, Sergeant Hartswick suffered serious injuries while attempting to rescue and aid his fallen compatriots. May 14, 2023 marked the 10 year anniversary of his service and sacrifice, for which he was was awarded a Purple Heart and an Army Commendation Medal with Valor.
